life update
so I don't update much anymore... life is busy but good. I'm in Chicago running around with AmeriCorps and the National AIDS Fund, busy with trainings, settling in to work and the city, and figuring out office politics...
I've been thinking a lot about local food, and about how in a perfect world I would be a vegetarian except for local, humanely raised meat. That being said, we don't live in a perfect world and our government doesn't support local food so that is a pipe dream until I am actually earning money and not on food stamps.
In other news, applying to grad school is a long and tedious process. And the NPR show "wait, wait, don't tell me" is hilarious.
