(no subject)
damn, when you get up early you can get lots done.
i dropped my laundry off this morning and made it to the post office at like 11:30. i was the only person trying to send stuff who spoke any spanish and the lady at customs treated me like a goddess. she waived the people before me through because she got sick of trying to tell them what she wanted and somehow i never had to fill out any customs paperwork thanks to some confusion. score. i waited in some lines, explained some things to a lot of people since the guy at packing kept asking me to, and ended up with a nifty box wrapped in a sheet that the usps is going to love.
kim and i met up for lunch after and then we got ice cream and went to eat it in the park. right as we were finishing we were surrounded by teenagers who were asking for money. when we told them we didn´t have any they started getting angry and saying they were going to kill us if we didn´t give them anything. they got mad and cussed out the states before finally leaving, at which point kim and i took off in the other direction.
i got my suitcase to close last night and i dropped a bunch of shit off at copa today and now i don´t know what to do with myself. i would go sit in the park and waste time but umm no. i have 4 hours to kill before i go pick up my laundry and go home to eat mashed potatoes and hot dogs (apparently the only think lucresia knows how to cook) and decorate the arbol de navidad.
olga and i were supposted to meet up to swap some stuff but i kinda doubt that will ever happen.
so here i am... last free day in the city...
