To answer the question "What do you DO out there all day?
Well, today I:
-wandered through a large meadow and chased some groundhogs
-bounced around on a suspension bridge above a river
-walked barefoot in the swamp-mud
-got a little sunburned
-counted frogs (23), and turtles (2)
-saw a gray catbird, a pileated woodpecker, an eastern phoebe, tree swallows, barn swallows and lots of ebony jewelwings
-climbed up the side of a ravine to enjoy the view
-discovered a waterfall
-dozed off for a bit watching the sunlight glitter through the leaves of thick old oaks
-made a new friend:
Definitely a good day.
