Once Upon A Holiday
by Anna Jiongco

So I have reason to believe that I have a purpose now. And whatever that may be, I'll stick around to find out. This holiday season was one of the best I've had E V E R. I'm prone to locking myself in my room plotting my own demise around the Christmas season. Here are some pictures that speak for themselves:

Biloxi, Mississippi:

My cousin, Melvin.

He owns this kiosk that me and my sister were able to work at for one day situated in the heart of one of Biloxi's finest malls.

My beautiful sister:

We ate dinner that night at a casino.

This is what happens when you're underage and have to lounge around in some lobby:

Right before we left Pensacola, my cousin Michelle gave birth to the newest addition to the extended Jiongco family. Her name is Ava Deluna. Ava pronounced "Ay-va".

Ava's older brother, Jaylyn Deluna.

Jaylyn + Ava.

My cousin, Michelle. So beautiful.

After our long trip back home, we were happy to be in the arms of our wonderful mother. I really missed her, as odd as that might sound, and I think this new year things will be a lot better for the both of us. We opened presents together and had our own Christmas.

Eat. Drink. Be Merry.
