I don’t know why I try
Here again, I wonder why
Always going back and forth
Good and bad without remorse
Forgetting all the good times
Quietly listening to the wind chimes
Left behind and thrown
Without even the slightest groan
You don’t even seem to care
Leaving me, not a moment to spare
So oblivious to all the signs
Pretending that all is fine
You can’t even catch a clue
This has been long overdue
I need to stop trying
End all of this lying
