As far as Sagramore is concerned, this weather should be illegal. Of course it's typical April weather, achingly hot one moment and cold rain the next, but the achingly hot periods are too often and too early for him, and it's irritating. So he's dressed in the bare minimum, having given up all pretext of wearing time-period-appropriate clothing,

Eventually Courfeyrac wanders out, with his sleeves rolled up to the elbow in what passes with him for wild abandon, and smiles when he spots Sagramore. "Good afternoon."

Sagramore sighs and smiles. "Helyes. Good afternoon."

[all_that_grace]

"Am I intruding?"

[le_desirous]

"No, absolutely never."

[all_that_grace]

"Never say never," mildly. "If you want to be quiet, I can go."

[le_desirous]

"No, no, it's not that."

[all_that_grace]

So he comes over, running his fingers through Sagramore's hair a little diffidently. "What is it?"

[le_desirous]

"I don't know. It's hot."

[all_that_grace]

"Not so very." Courfeyrac drops a hand to his bare shoulder. "Are you all right?"

[le_desirous]

"The weather," almost petulantly. "I don't like it."

[all_that_grace]

He bites his lip. "We could go down to the lake."

[le_desirous]

"We could." He stands, then.

[all_that_grace]

Courfeyrac smiles at him, and heads for the steps.

[le_desirous]

Sagramore manages to smile back, despite his overall sullenness, and follows after him, after quickly finishing off his coffee.

"It's nice to have the sun shining, at least."

"Jesu, man, I can't countenance you."
