WOWIE!! I am excited at the possibility of seeing you more than once a year :P

Dorms are a mixed bag. I've had really good experiences with them, but there are a lot of variables. Your RAs, the building itself (location, facilities, etc), your roommate, and your neighbors/the overall community. I think they usually have official fire drills during normal waking hours, but fire alarms definitely go off anytime people pull them or burn popcorn or whatever. On another note, some of my greatest college friends have been people I met on my floor.

I have been to some of Farmington's dorms and thought they were ok. I will just have to see how things turn out. I'm sure I'll be content no matter what :)

DOOD FUCKING FIRE ALARMS. If you can help it, live off campus, unless you really want that experience, I suppose that's up to you.

Oh, and don't forget- bring a pocket knife with you, srsly. The single best advice I've ever received. Always keep it with you dood. Beyond that it's just plain useful, campus can sometimes be sketchy.

And idk, personally I love being a poor college kid ^_^

I beg to differ, Farmington is predicted next year to have more hours of darkness that Northern countries such as Sweden because of the unique positioning of one of the satellites that orbits the moon. In addition, this news has led to a predicted 1500% increase in the emigration of new citizens from Sweden.

I dare to say she should
"Get ready for normal FAR LARGER amounts of daylight and less FAR MORE Swedish."
