It was a good day yesterday. Definitely a great way to start a week after a long weekend. I spent the morning pressing plants and mounting dried specimens. I loooove pressing plants! SOso much. I just bought a bunch of new mason jars, so I went out around the apartments to harvest some of the super squishy moss that lives there. I love pulling up moss mats. They're so cute. So yeah, I have a new pet moss again! This one is a different species, it seems. I'm no mossologist though, so I have NO CLUE what my mossies are.
The weather was wonderful, so I took pig outside and rode her to class. Bike-riding to class might be my new favorite! I know it's awful to say, but I think the reason I like it so much is because I don't have to obey all the *booming voice* Ruuuules of the Roooooad!!! They're just kind of suggestions to me! I feel like there are all kinds of bicycle blue-bloods out there fighting for equal road-rights and they're all tumbling in their graves...or beds...wherever they are, they're tumblin' because of my uppity bike drivin'. Sorry guyth :B
I rocked the HELL out of O Chem last night. I totally nailed all the in-class questions. Problem was, Chris and I are sharing a clicker and, little did I know, it was still logged in under his name. Congrats Chris! You got all the O Chem questions right! *thumbs up!!!*
The night was filled with more biking (at the gym), more herbaceous vegetation researchin', and drinking iced coffee while beating the hell out of Chris at MtG. It was a good day. At some point, I messed around with my little, dumpy camera.
Little basils
I discovered a pear tree by my apartment, and returned with Chris to harvest what we could. We took turns climbing and catching and made out with a great haul.
New moss
I just downloaded a mess of Flapjack episodes. It will be a good morning.
