Ummm....why do you have the coolest life ever? Seriously....awesome pics as well. You are so lucky to get such an amazing schedule. I tell ya if I wasn't at art school I'd so want to do what you are doing. You's a lucky lady :D

I was in art school until I realized that I didn't want to draw the animals anymore, I wanted to work with them :D Best move of my life!

Aww thanks C: The good thing about arting is that you don't have to major in it to still enjoy it! I only wish I could do it as often as I did back then.

Okay WHAT THE HELL, I am SO JEALOUS OF YOU!!! Because I am so jealous of yo, I am going to need to ask: how did you get into this field? Because this is the kind of stuff that I would DIE to do, and I need to figure out how I'm going to (eventually) get there.

Wildlife Biology! I think it's a fairly common major at most universities, and I would SO recommend it to anyone who loves animals! :D I'm not going to lie, it's a pretty damn fun thing to study. I -look forward- to classes everyday, especially labs!

:) Isn't mist netting fun? The grad student I was with got to do the untangling and got pooped on the most. I just got to help hold the pretty birds and record info XD
So many neat looking experiences and critters and wow :D thanks for sharing!

Mist netting is great, except when Cardinalids get netted, then it's just super painful D: It's like playing the lottery or getting a big surprise every time you go to check the nets! This was my first time netting for bats though! They're fietsy buggers D: Every time one got stuck, we could hear them munching through the fibers of the net and we'd have to run to get them out before they damaged it!

Holy crap, how is backpacking a class? UGH, DO WANT. I haven't been backpacking in ages, I miss it.
I loooove those little 'dillos, oh jeez. ♥ I've been looking for them since I moved to texas, and sadly the most I've seen is the slightly flatter variety that dwell on the roadside. :C Elusive little guys.

Ugh I know D: These guys were the first ever LIVE armadillos I've seen! I always see them smashed on the road, and it bums me out. They don't spook easily at all, so it's no surprise that they get hit so often :c
