I just finished a big email tag between Robyn and I. He's SO sweet and offered me a full refund for the baby monitor, or even one of the higher quality monitors that they have. I took the refund though, and he put me on a waiting list to get a pick when new Ackie monitors hatch. I'm so horribly saddened for little Shiva, but in the long run, I think my life will probably be easier with an Ackie instead of a water monitor. Ackies only grow about 2-3ft tops, where waters toped out at 7-8ft and up to 80lbs. I was totally up for that commitment, but an Ackie will be a little lighter on the wallet, food-wise. Huge props to Pro Exotics. They bent over backwards to help my through this bad situation. Robyn said he could could on one hand the amount of times this has happened. They were just so nice regarding this mess.
Happy Valentines Day, all you single people! I just treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie sammich from Kroger and a new book, which I will now dive into before I have to go row some pieces on the ergs at Ramsey tonight. HAPPYHAPPYHAPPY a 12k piece. At least I'll burn off like....everything I ate today. Ugh.
