who am i kidding, the reason why i'm on lj is because i don't want to work on it. xD
but seriously though...application for university of texas (austin ) has the most INANE questions. most of them have to do with being or living in texas, and i am definitely NOT a texas resident, being a new england girl, so all of those are non applicable. i also have to come up with two new essays, since my common app essay doesn't fall into either of the required topics :/ one of the questions is talk about who's inspired me. UM. AWKWARD. no one to write about. :P probably i'll come up with some crap like admiring kurt vonnegut, LOL.
today i woke up at 9AM ish, worked on an elf king painting/cg in photoshop - yes, all remnants of my unrequited desire to play super smash melee O__o (my character of choice is link, though i've been dabbling in peach and marth/roy, as well as experimenting with a few more xD). my sister woke up at 3PM, haha, and after that we kinda took a long time in getting presentable for the outside world. went to a small sushi shop for "lunch". 30 piece platter for $40, the thing was HUGE. i was certifiably stuffed afterwards, and couldn't even joke about wanting to go to ben and jerry's for a quick dessert. so, it wasn't the most amazing day ever, but it was great to get outside again.
things i want to watch on hulu:

vexille, some sort of anime looking thing, definitely choose SUBBED. if the dubs are okay, then fine, but otherwise, i can't imagine what sort of mangling they did to the voices/dialogue >_>
a charlie brown christmas xD
my sister and i have different tastes when it comes to movies/shows - she definitely likes light-hearted, romantic-centered things better, and doesn't really care for artistic content; i go for the grittier, darker stuff, or the really witty dialogue, so she probably won't want to sit through the first two. however, i have brought the charlie brown christmas thing up, and we agreed on that all too readily. xD
