Les réflexions sur beauté (Thoughts on beauty)
so, i've had an epiphany of sorts as of late:
perhaps beauty is not a means to achieve one's ends,
but is an end in and of itself
to quote Oscar Wilde "Art for art's own sake."
there need be no reason to cultivate beauty in and around one's self
i guess that makes me an aesthetic?
(oh, and on a completely unrelated side note: fuck post-modernism.)
