wow... so i couldn't remember the last time i updated, but apparently it was 18 september. holy cats, that's a long time!
i'm alive, though, and slowly nearing the day when i get my soul back from this fine institution: monday i had a photo crit. tuesday i had a final costume history project and a theatre culture studies group presentation. wednesday, i studied and studied and studied. yesterday i had two exams, a group presentation, and two papers to turn in. today i had a presentation on laurie simmons, my contemporary photographer of choice. i just got done with that about a half an hour ago.... it went well, but i went a lot a lot a LOT longer than everyone else did and than i was supposed to. i was last, so it was ok. that's what i get for not working on the presentation until the night and morning before i have to give it, because then i don't practice or time it. and when i'm afraid i'll go short, i overcompensate by talking and talking and talking! so!
now i just have printing and reprinting and matting everything for my final photo crit/review, a paper, another paper, and a final. come 10 am next friday, i will have my soul back. now you know.
there are other things to talk about, but tough shit. i'm spent.
