today was a series of unfortunate events.
hehehe. i am sooo eloquent arent I?
Any way, I didnt get to move in today. What turned out to be a busy,
promising, and productive day ended in a dissapointing waste of time.
But I will remain positive through it all. So here is the actions of
today, with two sides to everything
Early this morning Uncle D went to get the trailer.
bad news: they didnt have the trailier we had reserved because the previous renters had failed to bring it back on time.
good news: they gave us another trailer that was larger, which solved our worries about space in the trailer
It took Uncle D a long time to get back from the UHAUL place.
good news: I got to sleep till 12, as opposed to the 9am time estimate for loading.
bad news: On the way back the truck overheated making travel impossible for the time being.
Uncle D calls a tow place.
good news: The truck can be fixed we just got to get it towed to the place
bad news: The tow agency
decides to take its time, doing other jobs before ours and then getting
lost on the way and refusing directions.
The guy finally shows up and takes Uncle D to get the truck fixed
bad news: Its getting late and they still havent shown up.
good news: I get to watch some Scooby Doo.
Success! The truck is fixed and we are now hooking up the trailer back to the truck.
bad news: the trailer is too
big and heavy for Uncle d's nissan and he cant really use it on the
high hills in our area. So he decides to take it back for something
else.
good news: more Scooby Doo.
5pm. The truck is back with a new trailer and we are
ready to start loading it up. I decide to call Lisha and see if she
will be there so we can get in.
bad news: Mesquite Ridge has
been giving Lisha the run around about our place. And when she gets
there she finds out that not only have they changed our location for
the fifth time they are not ready to move us in to the new location
because it is still being cleaned and painted.
good news: All earlier attempts
to get anything done where thrawted by mysterious powers preventing us
from driving all the way to Denton with no apartment to move into.
Further more ive just had an interesting disscussion with jeremy. Ive
hurt his feelings. But I feel that my actions are fair. The past few
weeks I have been ignored and handed off. Im tired of our phone
disscussions. I think we have just overdone it. My patience is running
low as well. There is nothing i can do about it right now though. Im
feeling a little used right now and as school approaches my feelings
for urgency rise. I cannot be sedated in my actions anymore. Summer is
over and I must re-evaluate my line of action.
