Born This Way Ball 2012 @ The Singapore Indoor Stadium

"Similar successes were echoed in European markets. Several British publications indicated that presale tickets in the United Kingdom were selling beyond the demand.[40][41] Industry analysts suggested that based off of internet searches that an estimated two million people could attempt to purchase a ticket out of the 75,000 that were issued for the London and Manchester dates.[42] Tickets became available for general sale on April 13, 2012; the London event sold out within 60 seconds,[43][44] while the Manchester concert sold out under ten minutes.[45][46]"

Nothing short of brilliant. Pity le sis took the dslr with her, but I've got enough vids and blurry pics in my cam / phone to keep me happy for a bit. It was electrifying, watching her close-up (okay 3rd row of Pen B) we very nearly got tix for the next day as well - the 288 ones + QUEUE FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE.

Pre-concert prep was pretty hectic- had a schedule that didn't allow for delays ie) sending fam off to the airport, housework (dog, dog, dog), rushing down to get the wrist tags for our queue (which didn't matter after cos everyone was jumping lines). Then Sly came over to rest up for the in-between period. The initial plan was to finish up my assignment,  but we ended up doing the diy shoulder pads / epaulettes.

LOVED IT. Now I'm hooked on DIY! Pity there's barely enough time as it is to go by. I reckon with a lifestyle like mine I shouldn't sleep at all. If only aye. Decided not to redo the skull look from Born This Way or get a wig but just go with something Gaga-inspired. Spotlight had no spikes or metal studs so we had to improvise quite a bit.

THE 3 HOUR WAIT - Arrived at 530pm, waited till 840 for the concert to start. Feet were dying by then (style > comfort ONLY for this situation) AND DJ Zedd played a pretty dope set list. HOW NOT TO DANCE. So by the time the concert started I was literally stepping outta 'em wedges every other slow song. I don't know how she does 3 back-to-back shows.

SETLIST
Act 1 : "Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)", "Government Hooker", "Born This Way", "Black Jesus † Amen Fashion", "Bloody Mary", "Bad Romance", "Judas"
Act 2 :  "Fashion of His Love", "Just Dance", "LoveGame", "Telephone", "Heavy Metal Lover", "Bad Kids"
Act 3 : "Hair", "Yoü and I", "Electric Chapel", "Americano", "Poker Face", "Alejandro", "Paparazzi"
Act 4 : "Scheiße", Encore, "The Edge of Glory", "Marry the Night"

Photos and videos as below - hope they don't remove these sites cos I'll be devastateddddd. All in all, pretty damn amazing experience. Mind-blowing theatrics, set, costumes and performances, intimate interaction segments with the audience, self-empowerment and constant reminders about how you should never underestimate yourself... "There's nothing quite like it." And I've seen quite a few concerts thus far.. sitting on the Mraz concert in June, sigh sigh donations to my concert fund plea$e :(
