I should start reading the news more often; excuse me if I bore you

Ever wondered who the brainchild or what stroke of inspiration sparked the ingenius campaigns and advertisements we see daily? After finding an article on an iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz, a google search turned up the LV Journeys Campaign; and I'm amazed at the feel of the works and how the ads speak to me. I mean, I knew about these ads from way back, but wow, really appreciating it for what it's worth... Goob job O&M.

In other news, recent polls have shown a steeper dip in President Barack Obama's popularity ratings.  Tens of thousands gathered in Washington DC to protest his bill on the latest updates on healthcare reforms. Many accused his administration of "leading the United States down the road of socialism". Okay, George Bush? Yeah that was socialism, but think long-term wise- the goddamn health insurances and premiums are just gonna keep rising. SARS was a pandemic, H1N1 caused outright panic, what next? Well, that's just my  two-cents worth. A random titbit on our favourite black President (okay, MY fave), the house next to his is for sale nowww. If you have between US$1.5mill to 2.4 and you wanna subject your entire family to investigations by the Secret Service that is.

And with the whole beauty queen-pageantry fixture of late, Miss Singapore World Ris Low is an EMBARRASSMENT. With girls like these playing ambassador, it's little wonder we never win. She can barely articulate FASHIONISTA, and wth is BOOM? Ughhhh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F74FZfdSJY

I think I've been sufficiently disgusted and distracted by now, watching Kumar from April (LOL I can watch it over and over) trailers of Jennifer's Body (starring Megan Fox as a cheerleader who rips and eats out man's hearts) and I can't wait for Taking Woodstock + Disney's remake of 1960s Beatles movie, Yellow Submarine!!! Okay, back to work. (all news taken via Reuters, ST.com and CNA) And I'm really trying to read the news daily, hahaha even if it's just the tabloids/headlines \/\/ so bear w me!

movie, tabloid, advertising, news
