some came as pleasant surprises, some total shockers, whilst others were expected. new P shihui and VP eugene for bsc! so, so, so proud of them; the comm's definitely in good hands. congrats to brandon too! surpassed last year's votes omg. though most of the shockers came from SU, i guess, its too early for doubts. and i agree w gids, FO's starting on a new slate w the new comm. things are gonna be very different from now on.
first half of the day crawled by- coming back to school was refreshing, after a long period of not; bumping into familiar faces, catching up... just felt so good. though a part of me still says not to get too attached to all this, cos it'll all be over soon. the thought in itself's depressing, voicing out, facing it or embracing the idea's a whole different thing that i honestly can say i'm not ready for. there's a time and place for everything, and i guess now's just about... slowly letting it go. its not easy, after all we've been through, after what we've done/accomplished, and after all we've felt as 15, but c'est la vie aye? (i'm still not gonna start on my bsc entry. not till CCA awards, cos yeah, that'll really be graduation for us:/)
the new comm AY09/10 (+ MAY!) and the 0809 batch (:
but its a good team, all that got elected maincomms, sooo, all the best, and goodluck, cos you're gonna need it. that, and a whole lot more to be a maincomm. perservere, perservere, perservere, cos there'll be times when things get too much and you'll just want to give up. remember why you ran. remember why you wanted to be part of this in the first place, and revive the passion for business- cos that's why you're elected as maincomms (:
bubbletea& dinner w the old and new, and i'm looking forward to tues!
guess i'll be spending a lot more time in school, haha so call me out for lunch! screw being grounded, i'm done.
