La. I just have nothing to say lately, I think. Sorry for being so boring.

Anyway, last weekend was my trip to Charlotte's. I spent all day Friday cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom (including the refrigerator) to earn some money (because I've been a little lazy with the job search that I should be spending all my time on) and left Houma around six thirty. The drive to Prairieville took about an hour and fifteen minutes, and except for the setting sun, it was great. Interstate driving is FUN. Kept seeing cops, though, and that is just not cool. Anyway, Char's family left around ten, Char and I ate dinner, watched movies, slept. Saturday we visited people around town, saw X-Men: The Last Stand in Baton Rouge and ate at the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen, bought liquor at Wal-Mart (I needed whisky. I was out.), and then went back to her house to get nice and drunk. Her neighbor's son, John, joined us. It was a lot of fun. We told drunk stories and jokes and watched Skinimax. Fun times, indeed.

Sunday we just stayed at the house and cleaned a bit. I left around five. Came home, watched the Tony's with my family, sleep.

The week was mostly boring, except that Stephanie was in Florida (Disney and Daytona) with Brooke and Jacob, so I got to babysit her bunny, Foo Foo! She's a dwarf rabbit (about the size of a guinea pig) and ADORABLE. I'm going to have to give her up later today, and it makes me really sad. Poo.

Um, been reading a bit: The Da Vinci Code, In Her Shoes, On the Road, Goodnight Nobody, more I can't remember. Been knitting, too. I'm working on a flat piece of circular knitting that I want to use for the back of a pillow. It's an interesting project, and I'll post a picture of the finished object when I'm done.

Hung out with Kate and Brittany last night. We drove around Houma just goofing off and talking for a few hours. As always, quite entertaining.

Tonight I worked on a mix for my dad for Father's Day. A few songs I know he likes plus a bunch I think he will.

Like My Daddy Did: A Father's Day Mix

The Zombies -- This Will Be Our Year
Ben Folds -- Gracie
Cary Brothers -- Blue Eyes
Jewel -- Till We Run Out Of Road
Dion -- Runaround Sue
Rod Stewart -- Rhythm Of My Heart
Elsinore -- Sliding Glass Door
Roger Miller -- Whistle Stop
The Red Stick Ramblers -- Main Street Blues
Henry Mancini -- Pink Panther Theme
Sha Na Na -- Purple People Eater
Afroman -- Because I Got High
Final Fantasy VII -- Turks Theme
Gruff Rhys -- Gwn Mi Wn
Merle Travis -- Sixteen Tons
Marion Black -- Who Knows
Statler Brothers -- Flowers On The Wall
Creedence Clearwater Revival -- Bad Moon Rising
Steve Miller Band -- The Joker
Grateful Dead -- Ripple
Jesse Spencer -- Molly Smiles
Jim Croce -- I've Got A Name
Hank Williams -- I'm A Long-Gone Daddy
Johnny Depp -- Minor Swing

Today I'm going to sleep late and read some more and visit the bookstore perhaps. Monday I should really start to job search vigorously, but I probably won't. It just is NOT fun. Ugh.

Comment, please. I like them.

Me as a baby.
Is it weird that I look like George W. Bush?
