My Contract Boyfriend
It's been a long while since I've written this drabble. Well, I just want to you that I'm back with this drabble.
Part 14
After lunch was over, they all proceed to the living room for more chit-chat time.
“Thank you for the great meal, umma.” Jessica politely thanked her.
Mrs. Jung gives her another fake smile and says, “You shouldn’t be thanking me, my dear. Like I said earlier, I didn’t cook the meal this time.”
“May I ask who cooked the meal, Yoona?” The eldest Jung asks her daughter-in-law.
“Umma, before I tell you who cook the meal, please promise me that you will control your emotions.” Mr. Jung says.
“My son, why do I need to control my emotions?” She asks her son.
“Sieomeoni, we are just worried about your health.” Yoona says.
“Alright, then I’ll promise you that I will control all of my emotions.” The eldest Jung carelessly promised them without knowing that something may happen.
“Well, the person who cooked today’s meal was…” Mr. Jung begins.
“Kim Jaejoong, Yunho’s beloved boyfriend.” Yoona announced.
“What!” Jessica shouts in shock. “He can cook?” She has that unsure expression as she observed the man.
“Yes, he can cook. You can be the judge of that since you ate most of the meal today.” Yoona beams.
“I bet you that today was the most meal that you have ever eaten in your entire life.” Mr. Jung smirks.
Jessica fakes a small smile as she doesn’t know how to reply back.
“I’ll take your silence as to what I have said was true.” Mr. Jung concluded.
“Sieomeoni, why are you so quiet all of a sudden?” Yoona asks in concern.
“I’m fine, my dear. I just need time to myself. So, if you don’t mind I will depart to my bedroom.” The eldest Jung says.
“Halmoni, let me accompany you to your bedroom.” Jessica suggests.
“No, sweetheart.” She rejects her offer. “I really need a time alone for now. However, I am happy that you can join me for lunch. Thank you. You are free to go home now.” With that said, the eldest Jung walks to her bedroom.
Once the eldest Jung was not in sight, Jessica went to Yunho’s side and cling onto him.
“Oppa, wanna go shopping with me?” Jessica bashes her eyelashes.
Yunho pushes her hands away from his arms and coldly rejects her. “No, I am busy.”
“C’mon, oppa… My friends want to meet you.” Jessica tries to persuade him.
“I said no.” Yunho says. “If you want to go to the mall, you can go by yourself. Didn’t you say that your friends are there? You can go have fun with them. You don’t need me to be there.”
“Dear, if you have to go, you can go. No one is stopping you from staying here. Besides, you will be bored if you stay any longer since Halmoni isn’t here to keep you accompany.” Yoona says.
Jessica was shock to hear that from Mrs. Jung especially when she thought that she was in her side all these time.
“Well, aren’t you leaving?” She asks her.
“Umma…”
“What? I thought you want to leave so badly.”
Jessica looks at Mrs. Jung to see if she is bluffing, but since she couldn’t see anything. It angers her so much until she just stomps her way out of the door without bidding farewell.
“How rude…” Mrs. Jung scolds. “I’m so glad that she won’t be our daughter-in-law.”
“Well, I believe it is our time to go as well.” Yunho says as he checks the time.
“Awe, you are not staying for dinner?” His mother asks.
“Sorry umma, not today.” Yunho apologizes. “We still have other businesses to do before the day ends.”
“Awe, but we just met Jaejoong. Can’t you stay a little longer?” Yoona asks.
“Sorry mom. I have plans for us already.” Yunho said.
“It was nice meeting you too, Mrs. Jung.” Jaejoong gives her a genuine smile. “I will promise to come and visit you often.”
“I’ll take that as a deal.” Yoona gives him a hug.
Jaejoong gladly responds back to the hug. “Well, I guess this is a goodbye for now. I also want to say thank you for accepting me and for enjoying my meal.”
“You are welcome to come and cook for us.” Mr. Jung invites him with open arms.
Jaejoong gives him a kind nod indicating that he has accepted the invitation.
With their last farewell, the young couple left the resident.
Part 14
