Tubing
This weekend was our yearly tubing down the Delaware River with the sci-fi group. It was a little cooler than normal, which I think accounted for so few people being there. There was no line for the bus (or anything for that matter). Couple areas on the river where the water was so low we had to walk it but I had a nice, relaxing time.
Sunday was spent continuing my house projects. I finally got all the books arranged they way I want them. They are separated into 3 sections: ones I have read, ones I haven't but have owned since 2006 and ones I haven't read but are newer. Then I separated each of those sections into hardback and paperbacks and then alphabetized each section. I know, I am completely OCD.
Also got the wedding dress packed and shipped off for preservation. Has to go all the way to Texas. Oh well, the payment got all lumped in with everything else or else I would have taken it some place local. Also got new black pants to replaced the ripped ones along with b-day presents for people. Also got another phone for the office so I don't have to go running for it in the bedroom.
Jeremy's parents came over to help us replace the broken dryer vent. We took them out to dinner afterwards. Got to try a place down the street called West Avenue Grill. Funny, I found out that they are actually the same place on West Ave in Jenkintown, right down the street from where my mom used to own her candy store! One of the hostesses even remember Oswald Drugs, which my mom was right next to and has been gone for several years. Blast from the past!
Did not spend nearly enough quality time with the TV as I wanted. However, we have a 3-day weekend coming up! Work is kind of slow, which sucks because it was so insanely busy before. Just got to keep plugging away.
