Someone set up a TV in the student lounge of the SCILS building. I missed seeing his swaring in, since I was in class at the time, but I saw some of the commentary on his speech, the inticial confusion over Sen. Kennedy's condition (he is apprently aware and able to talk, they are still giving updates as they find out more) and I now watching as much of the parade as I can before I need to go to my next class.
The big question now is will Obama walk any part of the parade route.
It is amazing to see the milatary guard lining the street between the crowd and the parade as well as an entire fleet of motocycle police.
They are currently estimating the head count as 2 million.
Today as well as the election itself, will be one of those days I will always remember.
