Whew!

I am sooo happy its the weekend. This past week was the first of four where as I'm working from 9am~8:30 at night with just a break for lunch. Which may not sound like overwork to the average American work horse...but have you ever tried teaching for that long? Its a whole other level of exhausting as you try to exert yourself, your voice, and most importantly control over groups of children all day. But on the bright side these extra classes will pay out big time on the next paycheck. And its only for a month so..well, in my mind a person can do almost anything for a month, right?

Anyway, slept a bit late today. I was having such a good sleep but really weird dreams...super weird. I can't remember them now but when I woke up I remember thinking, wow what weird ass dreams.

Met with Krystal at 11:30. She gave me a surprise early birthday party in the park! lol She set up a sign she made and balloons and a cake. It was very funny. She had planed to divert me to another location, break in to my house (actually she has a key)and decorate while I was out and surprise me. But when I foiled her plans, accidently of course, she relocated to a park and had me meet her there. It was really sweet. She is always so creative and thoughtful on my birthday. Last year she made me a cake our of snack cakes and yogurt while on the bus. When I answered the door there she was with her cake, candles lit and singing. I feel really lucky to have her for a friend. So next weekend, the actual birthday weekend, she's coming over with her sister and I promised to put up her sign and some balloons so we can take pictures like she orginally wanted. So next weekend I'll have pics of that.

After that, went to lunch and then we went to Emart for some grocery shopping I needed to do. Its always nice to do it with someone else. lol Less boring. And less time to stress about the crowds of people.

After that I came home and cleaned up. Did all the fridge prep for the next week. Precutting veggies and fruit. Portioning out meats and so on all in their nice little tupperware containers. All for the purpose of easy meal prep for the dinners of next week! Which I find tedious...but, satisfying. It makes things much easier during the week. Good nutrition is the only defense I have against my schedule right now. Without it I'm sure I'd be sick and in a very fowl mood everyday. Which isn't a good condition for a teacher, now is it? :P

After that I watched the Color Purple, which I love, and painted my nails! I'm getting pretty good. Check out the picture (fuzzy but you'll get the point)! Not bad for free hand.

Other than that is been a pretty average week. I got emails today from David and Daniel (English names, of course). So I wrote back Daniel, which is easy cos its in English. :P David, well thats always in Korean, so I have to finish it up. I think better with pencil so I write it all out first, then type it. He's in Japan finishing up his last year of university now. And wont be back in Korea until next year. So for now, he's my penpal! lol As he is staying in the northern part of Japan in Hokkaido, so its quite country there. So, when he's not studying he's just bored enough to write me! And I always need the Korean practice, so its a good match. So maybe after this I'll finish that.

Now I'm watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! How much do I love this movie? I first saw it in 2nd grade at the end of the school year as a class movie. We poured OJ in to ice cube trays and put toothpicks in. After lunch we finished watching the movie and ate them. It was pretty sweet. As I'm watching it now its amazing how much of it I forgot over the years. And more importantly I'm amazed by how freakin weird it is! lol Weird, but enjoyable.

OK, enough of my day to day.
I got big plans for doin nothing tomorrow! Its gunna be awesome~ :P
