Something I've come across lately...
So I've noticed something. As I'm trying to be more aware of sexism and racism, and point it out to Ted, I've realized that it is so institutionalized and socially accepted that no one see's it. So when I do say something, I get the dirty looks, eye rolls, and people who get down right aggressive about it because I decided to stand up and say something. How freaking wrong is that?
