I haven't posted a lot of personal stuff lately, mostly because I've just been too tired to put it all into words ( Read more... )

*nods* I agree! We did pay a lot more for this... And I guess I'm more interested in Ruki himself than in what he thinks is pretty? ;) No, that's not actually true, I do appreciate the beauty of this production, and I know that I am going to appreciate and enjoy it even more later, once the little disappointment has passed. And that which Ruki finds beautiful and that he wants to share with the fans is also a part of him. So, I guess I wanted some parts of the other band members as well. ;) Like, yes, those nude photos!!!!

I think also, it was a bit difficult to squee over for me at first, just because I had been so worried, because I'd had this weird doubt from the time Ruki started talking about it and what they were doing. Nothing that I could or can put my finger on, I just felt it. And then it turned out that I had been "right", you know? I need a little time to let that settle down and I can perceive it from a different viewpoint.

Haha, yeah, you're probably right about Ruki moving on to other sounds. They do that. And I am also grateful that the other members told him to stop when they felt it was enough. *g* I love how they can keep the GazettE sound even when experimenting with genres and sounds. The *real* GazettE sound never goes away completely though. I think that is one reason I have a bit of a difficulty with disc 2? because I can hear the rest of the music and I can hear that the songs are damned good, but to me it's like the electronica is attached afterwards, not quite part of the music, so therefore it's annoying and distracting... To me personally it feels like a afterthought, pastede on yaye, rather than a true part of the composition.

Which yeah, is a long way of saying, I love huge parts of it, still wanted a picture of the boys to celebrate their 10th year since I couldn't be in Japan for the anniversary, and I'll probably like it even more with time. :D
