Bonnie! I love reading your posts!!! Please keep updating!!
I'm going to try to update more often now. I just have so much I want to say, and this way might be easier than trying to get it all out of a mouth that never corresponds with my head.
I had a GREAT birthday! I felt so special and birthday-ish. The missionaries even stopped by and gave me some stuff (nerds, a masonry hat, and toy dinosaurs!), and my dad sent me balloons and candy!! So sweet! And Bonnie sent me a BYU shirt!!!! And I got a camera, a red one. Yay!!
I've been feeling really good health wise the last couple of weeks, which I am sooo grateful for. When my body feels better, everything is better.
I have senioritis SO bad! I'm so thankful that Calculus is my only hard class this semester and that I have a wonderful teacher!! I just took my midterm about an hour ago and I think I did decent; it certainly wasn't as hard as I was expecting, but probably not as high as I hoped for since I needed a 95 to have a B this nine weeks. I am so so so so sick of band, or at least of Mr. Jordan. He is the drumline/percussion instructor, and I have absolutely no respect for him. He cusses and throws things all the time, talks vulgar, acts like a teenager, and is a horrible leader who is convinced that everyone in the percussion section has ambitions of playing their instrument for the rest of their life and has no higher priorities than marching band. I have to stop talking about him because I really don't like him, which, of course, he knows, but who cares? I'm taking the ACT again at the end of this month, in hopes that I can make that evasive 31 and get a scholarship. The chances aren't too high, but I'm gonna try anyways! Something else frustrating is that I still don't have a date for Homecoming! I'm required to go for SGA and if I did go I could be in lead out, so I really want to go, there just isn't anyone to go with. In short, I need a break from school and I am so ready for DisneyWorld next week!! Yay!
I've been having a bad attitude about Church lately. Not about the actual gospel or anything like that, just the fact that there's not many people in 1st ward; I miss Bonnie (seriously, so much) , Abby, Garrett, and David. Last night was pretty fun though; we "Boo"-ed two less active girls, and that kind of stuff is always fun! Also, we have really cool leaders who just want to help, and I feel bad for being a Debbie Downer sometimes.
Anyways, I better go get ready for pick Ben up from school (my second block class is special ed. aid and the kids didn't have to come for exams, so the teacher let me leave!).
