Title: Navi-Ichigo

Idea: Bleach Crossovers
Notes: Come on, you knew I had to try a Zelda Crossover at least once! Not the best but my midterm is on Tuesday so... Yeah. Excuse.
Ichigo watched as a young boy dressed in a green tunic ran past, a fairy bobbing after him. Not moving from his spot he continued track the little boy until he ran out of sight towards a castle in the distance. Scratching his head, Ichigo looked around in confusion as the world began to blur and... grow?
Within seconds of the entire world changing he was flying - flying! - after the little boy in green as they crossed a drawbridge and entered town. As the boy stopped he bobbed up and down. It was extremely hard to hover as his wings seemed to have two modes, high speed and gliding, bobbing happened by him flying high speed than just stopping and after falling for a bit just fly up again.
When the boy looked to him with confusion written on his face Ichigo found himself speaking, “Let’s go to the castle, hurry Link!” His voice was high pitched, loud, and very annoying. He hoped he never had to speak again.
Without seemingly thinking at all the boy obeyed his words and ran off towards the castle. Ichigo followed behind as if compelled and watched as the boy snuck into the castle and past the guards with no trouble. If only it had been that easy to get into the Soul Society, he grumbled to himself as the boy, Link, talked with some little girl.
The days continued and he still followed the boy as he ran from one place to the other with no rest. First he had run off to some ranch and talked to a girl he had run into in the market that first day. He spent the night at the ranch and in the morning they were off into a forest before running to a small town at the bottom of a mountain. After running around town and helping he had gone up to the mountain and clear out a cave for some rock people before running off to a place hidden behind a waterfall and into a fish’s mouth.
The days seemed to pass by as if on fast forward, even as he lived each moment in his small fairy body (which was female, unfortunately) he felt detached as if playing a video game. Worse, every time Link looked to him for help his annoying high pitched voice immediately had an answer. Even worse, at the most random of times he felt the need to say extremely stupid things like “Hey, look!” or “Link, have you seem the cloud around the mountain?” As if Link couldn’t see the cloud of smoke.
But even as the days seemed to pass fives times to fast, or when he said something incredibly stupid, Ichigo found himself enjoying the world around him and admiring the little boy he was doomed to follow. Nothing seemed to slow this guy down, tirelessly helping each person he ran across no matter the problem.
Currently Link was running back towards the castle, for the first time smiling. The excitement in his face after he received the blue gem had made Ichigo bob with extra energy. He didn’t know why they were happy but to see the boy happy for once, who usually ran around with a strangely focused look, was an extremely nice change.
So when the horse came running pass with the princess obviously in a hurry to get away Ichigo couldn’t help the feeling of dread in his stomach. And when a man in black armor stopped and looked at Link, Ichigo couldn’t help the surge of protectiveness.
He didn’t know exactly what was going on but as the ball of purple energy was thrown at Link, Ichigo found himself standing back in his normal human form shielding Link with his body and as the ball of energy hit him-
Ichigo sat up gasping for air. He could almost swear he felt tingles from the ball of energy that hit him, but after a few giant gulps of air he found himself relaxing again back to the bed. Sleepily he looked over to the nintendo 64 with the Legend of Zelda game still sitting in it innocently. Maybe beating the entire game in one sitting was a bit too much, because dreaming he was Navi was one of the freakiest dreams he’d ever had.
