It's been 2 weeks since the surgery, the stitches out on Monday all is well. The elbow is a little weak but it should get stronger. Didn't get to see the Doc when the stitches were out but his Nurse/PA said everything looked good. he told me that the people that does the biopsy (sp) declared it to be a gouty tofus (tophus) which is something caused but the buildup of uric acid in the joint. This is funny because in one of my older post I commented about the fact that I let RA Docs stick a needle in my elbow and draw off fluid to check for uric acid crystals in my elbow. 3 Docs in the RA clinic looked and declared there was exactly 0 crystals in my elbow. So if RA could find no uric crystals in my elbow how could I have a gouty tofus in said elbow? Docs really get on my last nerve. I also wrote about the indo doc that give me problems over my high A1C in march. She was so adamant I had no chance to get my A1C down from 10.2 to 7 or lower without insulin. She offered NO encouragement and that I would never see 7 or lower with needles. Raspberries to her my A1C the day before my surgery was 6.8.
2 more weeks till I'm back in AZ. I hope my elbow is strong enough to ride, I miss my bike.
