Let see since my last post; I spent 3 weeks at my in-laws in California. Left the wife there an drove to my brothers in Phoenix. The plan was she was to fly back to DC then to Phoenix to drive with me to DC. Well we know how plans go. I ended up back in Cali. for another week an a half an it wasnt a good one. We finally left day after Thanksgiving an spent 3 days at my brothers. We stopped in El Paso to see the son-in-law. Then we stopped in Dallas to meet the boys parents and sisters. All this was good. The weather was....horrible. As we crested the hill and got our first look at Las Cruces NM an the white stuff covering the mountains East of the city. We had that white stuff till almost Midland, TX. We know just how much I love white on the ground in winter...NOT! Left Dallas area as a storm came in bringing the white stuff to Houston in back to back years for the first time in recorded history (so much for global warming). Stopped around Fall Branch, Tenn an woke up to the white stuff falling. It came down all the way to DC.
There was a lot of mail from the VA at home and they accepted my clam that my back was worse. They bumped my 10 upto 20 an 10% nerve damage in each leg for a total of 40%. They say the problem goes back all the way to June... 2009. Gee I only started back at the VA for my back in oo 2007. Only had 2 MRIs in NOV-Dec 2007 an 1 in Apr 2008. So I dont know if I'll contest this date or push it. Every dollar the VA pays me is a dollar in my pocket not the what 70 cents that my AF Retirement check dollar is. Right now every dollar VA gives me the AF takes. Bummer.
