What a crazy semester it has been.. Definately not the best scholastically wise.. but hey I can't do anything about that really now... I have been able to become close with some new people.. and reaquainted with some older friends.. So it hasn't been really that bad if I look at it that way. I'm still not completely happy with my life.. but I won't complain either.. I know it could be worse
I just got back from purchasing some PA equipment from James "Doc" Morton (owner of The Money). I bought 2 speaker cabinets and a Mixing board. The speaker cabs are huge 3-way speakers that cost together brand new over $2,000 but Doc gave me a hellofa deal and let them go to me for $500, there is some normal wear on them, but everything else is in good condition.. The mixing board is nice also.. another $1,000+ purchase that Doc again let me have for $500.. He has been wanting to move this stuff for awhile now and was happy to let them go to me.. I think I got a good deal.. which is nice.. what isn't so nice is knowing now AI really have no money :).. oh well it was worth it.. This is probably one of the best deals I'll ever get... so i'm happy about that..
I am really pleased with how the band is doing. There are a few things that could use improving.. but that is what practice is for. Our stage presence is just great.. I have such a good time playing with these guys, its an indescribable feeling.. I wish I could share it with you... but then you might try and learn how to play the bass and take my place... well I just can't have that happening.. so I am not going to share that nice feeling with you.. You guys can just watch Rob make Funny faces and me do funny stuff on stage while at the same time bringing that phat Groove to you...
