CNN's special section remembering the 25th anniversary of the Challenger disaster, including the uncut broadcast, from the network, of the launch.

(I am not, however, advocating that you read the comments section at the bottom of at least the main article, which unfortunately is no more immune to trolling than the rest of the site.)

It's hard to believe it's been twenty-five years. I still remember our school librarian running to our classroom and our entire class following her to the library (where the only TV in the school resided) without any clear idea what it was about other than it involved the launch we'd all been anticipating. Even when we got there, it took a while for us to realize what had really happened, all of us staring at the news while NASA and reporters scrambled for details. It was surreal.
