I'm afraid I can't seem to find the post of your amazing fell beast to compare with. Did you use the same pattern as basis for it too? I now have a bit of free time on my hands, a few $ on Paypal and a LOTR-fan best friend to buy a present for. It would be perfect! =D
The general principles are the same, but the specifics are different: the shape of the wings/body, the legs being larger, and the addition of spines/jaw. I also extended the wiring farther down the wing. Sorry I don't have a pattern of the Beast available, but with some film reference pics in hand it can be adapted :-)
"PunxsutawneyPhyllis" is a great name. And such a pretty shiny dragon skin!
What about the Arthur and Gwen dragons that someone made recently?
Do people just send you pictures voluntarily, or do you ask for them, or what? I have a promotion to get a free shipping coupon on the next order if my customers will send me a picture of my miniatures in their dollhouse. Only a few people have taken me up on the offer, but it's so gratifying to see my things in their new happy homes. :D
Sure is pretty. It's a natural for dragon skin but since I've never used that kind of material myself, it never occurred to me. I do love seeing other people's ideas for these.
The Merlin dragons got their own post, though I haven't asked her yet if I can link it from my shop the way this post is.
All the dragon pics here were ones people just sent me themselves, usually attached to the feedback. Some of them then posted more pics elsewhere, which is why there's some links to other pages, too. Recently I've been mentioning this page when I send people their patterns. I like your coupon idea though!
