Metallicars, away!
Why is it that I can spend 20 minutes taping up a shipping box, and at the end of it it still looks like it was done by a slow five-year-old?
Ah well. I've just heard that the last of my plush Metallicars have made it safely to their destination, a year and three days after I posted my original. That makes 12 cars done in 12 months, not a bad average considering I swore up and down after the first one that I'd never, ever make a plush car of any kind again. As another nice bit of closure, the last cars went full circle to someone who lives near where I lived when I made the first Metallicar, and that was pure coincidence as the fan who got them and I don't know each other personally.
Now my own car's sitting on my desk, bravely keeping me company while I, belatedly and sometimes through my fingers, catch up on S3 (only seen the very beginning/end of the season) and S4.
