New life
We have babies! 7 to be exact. Our Foxy dog gave birth to 7 fat beautiful puppies today. Evidently she go pregnant shortly before we moved. I have no idea what kind of pups they are. They look like boxers, which is a possibility since our old neighbors had a couple of boxers. Anyway, one is brindle, three are black and brown, two are white, and one is brown and white with a white stripe down his cute little nose. Foxy has not stopped smiling since she gave birth. I want to touch and hold all that puppy cuteness, but Foxy gets twitchy if I get too close. Mei Ling served as midwife. She is my little shih tzu. She has been checking on the puppies hourly, and each time she does Foxy just beams, like the proud mama she is. I called all of my family members and told them they are all getting puppies for Christmas. Of course, they did not like that idea.
I think I scored another wholesale account today! Yay for me! I am meeting with the guy on Saturday to discuss the specifics and get some soap in his store before the holiday.
Also, I may be teaching a soapmaking class or two this spring. Keep your fingers crossed for me! This is something I would really like to do.
Still have not met many people in the area. Feeling a bit isolated, but that will pass. Trying to stay busy. I will be glad when winter is over and the market starts up in full force.
