I hope not...
Somebody mentioned that I looked pretty worn today and I replied, "yeah, I had the flu a couple of weeks ago, and though I'm not sick anymore, I'm still dragging." She asked, "You should get checked for mono," to which I replied, "Oh crap!"
I explained to their startled stares that I have Epstein Barr, which is basically mono that never goes away but retreats and hangs out in your system. It's been so long since I've had to deal with it though (4 years?) that I've kinda of forgotten. I would be so upset if my almost one year of perfect health was ended by a flu that brought my Epstein-Barr numbers back up (or down, I don't remember which way is good or not). Now that I'm re-looking over the symptoms, I'm getting a bit nervous.
