lazy sunday
The last Sunday before NaNo. My last free weekend until after Christmas. AHH!
Despite the temperatures in the low 40's and despite the rainstorm, Julie and I walked yesterday. There were about 75-100 people who showed up and it was a really great time. We had some guest speakers, and they really hit home with me. In the e-mail I sent out to my school when requesting donations, I told them that I don't talk about Johnny much and that is the truth. I didn't even tell anyone at school besides Julie, and there were only 3 other people in the county who knew, Karen, Tiffany and Jane.
It feels really good to talk about it. I want to get more involved. I want to help people deal with this. I want to let people know that it's okay to deal with this. I still don't know why Johnny did it, but I want to help the survivors. The sisters like me who lost their little brother to this. The little brother thought she was really close to.
Damn, it feels really good to say that :)
