Christmas Songs Day 10, 11 & 12
Sorry these are late. I haven't been on the internets since early Friday morning :) What a nice vacation it was!
Day 10: Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams
We used to play this in Wind Symphony. It was one of my two favorite Christmas songs to play, and I absolutely loved the oboe part (which is what we played on violin).

In my mind, it is not Christmas until I've played Sleigh Ride. Unfortunately, for the past two years, I have not played Sleigh Ride, and that might be one of the reasons I've been so funky the past two Christmases. LC's Wind Symphony does this as the finale for the Christmas concert. We were supposed to go Friday night, had tickets and everything, but with everything that's been going on, we ended up not going. Maybe my mood would have brightened if we had gone... probably not though.
Day 12: The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) by Nat King Cole
Absolutely amazing Christmas song. It's a true classic.
I hope you're enjoying watching/listening to these songs as much as I'm having finding them. It's probably one of the only things still keeping me in the Christmas spirit.
