Good Things and a Weekend to-do list

Alright, so after a REALLY rough start, my day finally starting going well.  Okay, not well, but it was fairly decent.  Basically this morning, I got a letter put in my permanent file about my classroom management and behavior.  The assistant principal (I'm really happy it was her and not the actual principal who scares me) told me that since this was the 2nd time this had come up, it needed to be documented. First of all, the 1st time, was only a chat with the principal.  Neither I nor Julie (p.e. teacher) thought that was such a big deal.  Apparently it was...

So... my list of good things from today:

• I'm actually more organized than I thought I was for this musical.  I've got a set design for each song and know exactly what I want to accomplish for the first 2 group rehearsals.  Now, I just need to hope that the actual rehearsals work out well.
• Blue Bloods is on tonight.  Sure, it hasn't happened yet but it's a new episode tonight and I'm excited.
• More hugs from kids.  This is always a recurring thing on these 'good things' lists.  and I just love hugs.  And, in addition, I got hugs from 3 facult members.  Sure, this was because I was crying and they wanted to comfort me.  But seriously? It makes me feel really good to know that I've got at least a few people at that school who care.
• A 2nd grade colored a picture for me.  It's a My Little Pony picture from one of her coloring books.  So made my morning!
• The 4th graders actually did REALLY well today on their musical.  Almost everyone sang, which is VERY surprising!

And, what I need to do this weekend.

• Program for Chorus
• RELAX
• Eye Dr's appt
• Get packages from office and wrap presents
• Go shopping
• Church Sunday
• Christmas Shopping
• Work on HP fanfic
• Start Lost fanfix for lost_land
