budgets suck :(
The Budget projections is out for next year. My county needs to cut 15mil. They're cutting 5 assistant principal and 4.2 music/art/P.E. teachers amongst MANY others and raising insurance by 15%.
I don't think I can lose my job again. I made the mistake of opening that stupid e-mail and looking at the budget summary. I'm going to be obsessing over this for days now. It's been a year since they told me they were probably going to eliminate the Strings Program (which they did in the middle of the school day).
I can't go through that again. This is going to make me sick again, just like it did last year. I was so worried about my job that my immune system was awful.
We have a faculty meeting this afternoon so that Mr Smith can explain what this means for PCES. I'm still low man on the pole, so if they're going to cut a music position, it's most likely going to be me :(
