In the Cubical day one
So three and a half hours of orientation later and lots of hours in front of a computer. Here I sit again. In front of a computer.
So 80 people showed up and stood in a single file line to get their id badges made. One at a time. UGGGG. So we now own one very bad picture badge and an hour late start to orientation. They begin to lecture us on doing things the company way and incorporating company values blah blah blah. It was so cheesy I was waiting for the How to Succeed in Business Conga line to show up any second. "I played it the company way...." O lord here comes high school again.
Anyway so that ended and off I went to meet my psycho boss who kept throwing things at me and yelling for me to run over to her cubical, one station away mind you. She did give me a very nice Cross pen though. But I have a two page to do list and 55 pages of a spreadsheet to readover and redo. OOOOOOOOO BOOOOY. All for the love of the resume and money. Plus a lot of engineer jargon I dont understand and my boss yelling a lot on the phone to the travel people about how they cant get her a hotel. Why did my other boss have to go get married??? Come back!
Then the roads where crap. Wow I sound positive. Well thats me living it the company way. Whoohooo corporate america.
So if any one wants to give me a massage right now, that would be nice.
