I need anti-virus.....

Hey gang! Need your opinions/recommendations.....we are now free from AOL aka AO HELL. On the laptop is still their crappy McAffee that can't be updated for some reason but still is protecting the system. I also have a key scrambler on the laptop as we were piggybacking off of someone else's WiFi before we got our out broadband connection. I use AVI on the desktop. It seems ok but the few times it has caught something, there is a choice to a) deny access, b) quarentine it c) allow access. Well once you quartine it, there is no way to go in and get rid of it.

What do you guys use and recommend for FREE anti-virus software??
