there was a big wave of "food that i hated as a kid is now acceptable, nay yummy" that occurred when i was in my early twenties, say, but i notice that that phenomenon still occurs. i don't think i'll ever want to sit and much a handful of cranberries (does anyone sit and munch a handful of cranberries?) or even have unadulterated cranberry juice, but it's gotten to the point where i really love cranberry bread--that "tart in the midst of sweet" thing is really good stuff--sort of like rhubarb pie.
in other news, guess what a co-worker baked today.
