every week i get more proficient at the making and bottling of my mint iced tea. this weeks innovation involved using a two cup measure and dipping into the cauldron then pouring through a funnel into the bottles--and also using a strainer in there at some point when it became necessary. much less waste, much less little bits of leaf in the bottles. the last bit goes into a pitcher because at that point i have to pour directly from the pot into something and a pitcher is much more useful.
i am loving drinking this tea at work. it's decaffeinated black tea brewed with mint and flavored with sugar and lemon. it's refreshing and i like to think healthier than soda, even though it has sugar in it.
