i think that my folks played me weavers music while i was in utero--certainly there were albums and albuns of it around as i grew up and i played them endlessly. i've been fortunate enough to see pete seeger in concert with arlo guthrie--probably when he was in his 60s and look how long he kept going after that. he was an amazing presence--not flashy but shining with sincerity and love. he's someone who genuinely made the world a better place. i miss him already.
