HOLY CRAP
Okay so when I got the first email from my conductor for Campus Band, I thought his name sounded familiar, but I had NO CLUE why. So I just kind of said whatever and let it be. His name is Jim Colonna. Well, that's one and then there's another guy, but Jim is the one I'm talking about. So then today in band he was talking about how he was friends with the composer of this piece we're playing and that he too is a composer. And I think to myself.. "No wonder his name sounds familiar! We probably played something of his in high school." But I couldn't think what it was. So I Google his name and HOLY FREAKING CRAP I discovered why I knew the name...
HE WROTE EUOUAE!!! HE FREAKING WROTE EUOUAE!!! MY CONDUCTOR IS THE COMPOSER OF EUOUAE!!! THAT PIECE OF MUSIC IS AMAZING!!
