Sunday was definitely Rylan's day to relax. He usually found himself sleeping in, catching up on all the sleep he had missed over the week, and it would take him about half an hour to actually get himself out of the bed after he first opened his eyes, simply refusing to move. But today was different, he was waiting for a phone call from either his mom or doctor. Maybe even his dad, telling him that he needed to stop screwing up, and then threatening him with something, as if that would convince him to change his ways. He rolled out of bed and got himself a glass of orange juice. He pulled his phone off the charger and set it on his bed, staring at it. Ry found himself wondering if it could convince it to ring, just so he could figure out what was going on, and what was going to happen. There was a knock on his door that drug him back into reality, and made him shake his head because of how weird he was. He walked over to the door and opened it, then remembering that he wasn't wearing a shirt, and his hair was all over the place ( ... )

"This won't take long, I promise." She said, sliding a foot slightly forward and into the frame of the door, so that if he planned on slamming the door in her face, he wouldn't be very successful, and more than likely she'd bitch at him for breaking her foot or something. "Just a friendly talk, that's all." She smiled brightly, the fake smile that was so easy to fool people with. She felt like some kind of annoying door-to-door salesman right now, which was not what she was going for, so she quickly lowered her eyebrows, and put a slight pout on her lips, attempting to look concerned. After all, that's what she was going for, right? Being concerned about him and Dora or something. "I was just talking to Dora the other day and...she seems like a really nice girl? Easy to talk to at least. But she mentioned you were her ex, and I thought that there was no way that you two could've broken up. You seem like you'd look good together ( ... )

Ry watched as she put her foot in the door, and looked up at her and frowned. Knowing that she was probably going to get in now, or at least get to say whatever she wanted to say. He might not be the nicest person in the world, but he could never purposely physically hurt a girl. It seemed like she had a lot of experience in forcing herself into people's doors. As soon as she mentioned Dora's name he rolled his eyes, and interrupted her. "I'm done with her. That was never a good relationship for me." He threw that out there, shifting his weight, and closing the door a little more, completely uninterested in anything that she had to say about her. Dora had most likely asked her to talk to him. "Just tell her to forget me, okay?" he suggested, because that's what he wanted, to forget that whole relationship. Taking a step back, he was about to close the door, but then he remembered her foot was in the way, and let out a sigh. She was making this difficult ( ... )

She smiled satisfied when she saw that he was unable to shut the door, and thus he'd be forced to listen to what she had to say. Dora was definitely going to owe her when she was through with Rylan. Something about him told told her that he wasn't all there to start with, so manipulating him was going to be a piece of cake. She watched his eyes light up a little more, and his focus was on her the more she spoke. She smiled sweetly once she was let into the room, and took a seat on the edge of his bed, careful not to get too near, as it didn't look the cleanest of places, and the stench from the room made her want to get this over and done with sooner rather than later. She couldn't take much more of this. He asked about why they shouldn't have broken up, and she locked eyes with him. "Because Rylan, you know how good you two were together, and how much you loved her...still love her, I'm sure. Just because of a few...incidents, that love doesn't just go away." Saying the word love so many times in a sentence made her feel sick, and it ( ... )

The consideration of Rylan actually ever loving Dora, and if he had, still loving Dora was a little far-stretched. Rylan was the type of person who claimed to not believe in the existance of the feeling, it was just a word people obsessed over, and took too personally, and said way too often. At first, after hearing what she was saying, he couldn't help but laugh at her, but she was convincing and believable, and he found himself agreeing with Bela. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He nodded his head and sat down on the bed next to her, leaning back on his hands. Rylan was trying to find a reason behind this argument; a reason to why he was simply agreeing with everything that came out of her mouth; a reason to why he would love Dora after everything that happened. It just didn't seem to fit him ( ... )
