There’s a time and place for everything, or so David has always been told. However, in this precise moment he feels lost, and now it’s too late.
After all, he never thought their last reunion would be this one.
Everyone in the house is fighting their tears back into a place where no one could see them.
For all is over now, his future broken as Cook lies, eyes closed, in front of him.
David cries silently, lost in vain promises as he kneels in front of the coffin and bids his last farewell to the love of his life.
