As fragile objects and people may be, some objects and we people can take some physical punishment and still be perfectly fine.
It has become a theme around the end of winter to have a small period of warmth before the final winter storm. And Friday night, the snow was enough to send me off the road. Typically, I go off on straight roads more than curves. I know how to handle curves, but my truck is light and has no weight on the rear tires. On the straight paths, the back end can loose traction on icy roads and starts going left. I do give a loosing fight keeping the truck straight because I overcompensate when turning the front tires.
Overall, I am fine, and my truck only needs to be realigned. Although, my truck is currently 12 years old and has 125,000 miles, and full insurance coverage is dirt cheap. Eventually, it will need to be replaced, but I can't afford to replace it with something new, which is my usual preference.
Beyond the ice and snow, I managed to watch 10,000 B.C. at the movies. It was good, but after watching the previews for upcoming movies, my watch list has increased from 3 to 4. That list is
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,
Star Trek 11, Batman, and now
Hancock. In list may be short, but I do not add anything unless it is official the movie will be released.
