(no subject)
Our new front arrived today. YEA! Of course it wasn't all together yet. The installer guy came about 9:20 am and didn't get finished until after 3:30. I asked him if all installations took this long and he said they usually take about 4 hrs. Older homes usually take longer...and ours did. He was an extremely nice person. He said our screen door sucked and we shouldn't put it back up (not exactly those words.) But, he would put it back if we wanted. I didn't want. I would like to get a new screen door, however, and have it installed by someone who knows what they're doing. Not himself. The front door is wonderful even if it doesn't match the wood inside the house. I just refuse to let it bother me.
The garage door guy called today and said could they install the door today. I said "no" so he said how about Friday and I said ok. After 3:30. Should give us a chance to clear out enough stuff to get the door installed. I've given up on actually getting it cleaned out. We'd probably just have to rent another shed. We already have two plus the little shed in the backyard. So, our door situation is almost solved. YEA!!
Next I guess we'll have to find someone to fix the hole in the ceiling in the garage. Does it ever end???
