(no subject)
Himself wanted to go to the Parade of Houses today. It was HORRIBLY hot! I've never seen so much opulence in one place. We only saw about 5 of the houses and I didn't like any of them enough to live in them. One was sorta nice downstairs. Very open and airy but it had dark woodwork which ruined it for me. The place had an outdoor patio which had screens that autoallycame down when you pushed a button which brought the outside inside. That was pretty neat. Mostly, you just got lost in the big houses. We didn't see the biggest one of them. It just got too hot! However, I wouldn't mind having one of the master closets. HUGE!!
Went to Central Mkt tonight and listened to a C&W band. The main guy played the fiddle and was he ever good!! He was only 16 I think. Really. He also sang. He was soooo talented. Had a good time.
Stopped in HPB to look for Janet Evonovich's new book. Ended up getting one of her audio books that we've been looking for. Also, a new Robert Ludlum novel that looked interesting. Don't know what to read next. Isn't that wonderful???
