Legal separation (my folks might be splitting)
So, my mom decided to talk to me about her family matter situation. She wants to get "legal separation" from my dad -- basically be independent financially. Not only that, but she said their marriage isn't what it once was. I completely understand the financial part and honestly since I'm so old now it's not a big deal, but the whole "wasn't what it once was" thing kinda gets me. They haven't exactly been like a young married couple, but people who are 55 and 59 shouldn't be. I'm not that upset; my mom said they'd still live together and everything, so as long as they're not arguing and fighting every night I don't mind too much.
Oh, and I got another call (wrong number) from a stupid guy. This time he didn't act like he knew everything about me, but it was definitely a black guy. He actually confessed to having the wrong number and it took him a little while to get off my damn phone but he did. I wasn't too concerned -- it didn't sound quite like the prank-caller from before and he did hang up more quickly than the other guy.
Also, the Pistons are playing right now and they suck. They're down 23 points (with only a few minutes left in the fourth quarter) in Game Five, and if they lose they go to Game Six. Honestly I think we all thought Chicago was done for, but they look like they're not through just yet. Oh well...shit happens. It does hurt, as a Pistons fan, but we can't do much.
I need to put on my boo right now (y'all know who I'm talkin' about); it's been a pretty long day and I need his soothing sounds in my ear. I'm gonna go with Kim and Ashley to lunch tomorrow so I'll probably check in after that. Good Night.
